Senior Technical Product Manager, Embedded at SoundHound Inc. in Remote

We do this by creating custom voice assistants that make it possible for companies to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways. Today, our customized voice AI solutions allow people to talk to phones, cars, smart speakers, mobile apps, coffee machines, and every other part of the emerging 'voice-first' world. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to initiate, plan, and execute projects focusing on our Houndify Edge product. Houndify Edge is a fully-embedded voice solution for brands seeking the convenience of a voice user interface without the privacy or connectivity concerns of the internet. The technology is broadly applicable across industries such as auto, mobile applications, medical devices, appliances, and more. Houndify Edge is an integral part of the overall Houndify developer platform and complements the Houndify Cloud. In this role you will:
Own the Houndify Edge roadmap and be able to define, prioritize, and execute based on input from a variety of stakeholders Translate product goals into product requirements, specs, user stories, and wireframes Drive delivery by working with cross functional, distributed, teams including engineers, business development, marketing, designers, and data-scientists Make data driven decisions and set KPIs for the product Keep an eye on the market and the industry including competitive and market research Champion the product by giving demos to customers highlighting new and innovative features as well as key benefits and advantages Be hands on including writing code samples, blog posts, and developer facing documentation Contribute anything and everything to make the product successful We would love to hear from you if:
You have 5
years of experience as an embedded software Product Manager You have successfully shipped embedded software products at scale in fast paced environments You understand the difference between processor architectures and chipsets, and why those differences are important You are comfortable working directly with customers You believe communication and documentation is critical to a project's success You are self motivated, collaborative, and hands on You have worked with a number of developer platforms and understand what makes them successful You have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent We'd be especially excited if:
You have hands on development experience in embedded software You have the ability to create functional prototypes and conduct user research You understand audio pathways on embedded systems You have prior startup experience You have exposure to voice, search, natural language understanding, and related technologies
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
